ROV provided structural engineering for Sole Rutland, the fourth installment of Live Edge Okanagan’s ‘Sole’ condominium building buildings throughout greater Kelowna. The project consists of a 1-storey concrete below-grade parkade podium with 5-storeys of hybrid concrete, light-frame timber, and steel-frame condominiums above. The project features a 2-storey tall drive-through laneway, for which ROV worked with the developer to formulate a series of hybrid concrete, steel, and timber transfer frames to ensure the cost-effectiveness and rapid construction of the project. The Sole Rutland Condominiums provide 100 homes to Kelowna’s Rutland community.
