Mahdi is a strong leader and great engineer. He brings his natural problem solving ability and inherent creativity to project teams. His brilliant technical skills result in optimized structural design, while his hands-on knowledge of construction ensures a constructible design. From a technical standpoint, Mahdi has a good understanding of all the code bases and design patterns of all services rendered. Mahdi strives for continuous improvement. He always raises ideas for improving the efficiency of projects, looking at things holistically and identifying constraints. He effectively leads other team members through meeting, planning and any processes which are needed to accomplish the project goals.

Architects and developers enjoy his collaborative approach to design and excellent problem-solving skills. He has expertise in engineering high rises, remarkable wineries, mass timber structure, industrial tilt-up and precast buildings and mid-rise wood-frame design. Mahdi’s technical abilities and approach allow him to develop very efficient framing and structural outlines. His portfolio includes Landmark 7, a notable 27-storeys high rise and Capstone first mass timber residential high-rise apartment built in Kelowna.

Mahdi graduated from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan Campus with master’s degree. He has worked on the development of mass timber hybrid with concrete structure.
