ROV Consulting Inc. has an immediate exciting opportunity for a Structural Revit/CAD Technologist to join our young, vibrant, service focused team in Kelowna. In this role you will be responsible for the drafting of single family, multifamily, commercial and high-rise projects in Concrete, Steel, Wood and Masonry. You will be working closely with clients and professionals alike and provide clear communications both verbally and through drawings and details.
reSPONSIBILITIES
- Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with engineers on a wide range of building design projects
- Coordinate and assemble drawing packages for building permit and construction
- Maintain drawing standards and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist with revisions, markups, and as-built drawings
- Support site-related coordination as needed
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- A minimum 5 years’ experience as a Structural Drafter in Steel, Concrete, Wood and Masonry
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required)
- Some on-site construction experiences
- Knowledge of the applicable material design standards and BC Building Codes
- A valid driver’s license
- Positive, collaborative approach to teamwork
